Generate and submit timely and accurate invoices, including AIA and progress billing formats.
Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies related to billing and payments.
Prepare and submit lien waivers, compliance documents, and related paperwork as needed for project funding.
Maintain and update customer records, job folders, and contract billing terms.
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other internal departments to ensure accurate billing data.
Provide regular aging reports and cash flow forecasts to management.
Assist in month-end closing and audit preparation by providing AR-related data.
Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and industry regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the construction industry.
Knowledge of construction billing practices, including AIA billing and lien releases.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks, Viewpoint, or similar).
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
